A Communal Dinner Inspired by an Eastern European Milk Bar

Dishes built around a few simple, quality ingredients, often with dairy at their heart and without any unnecessary fuss. That is the philosophy behind MLEKO BAR, inspired by the traditional milk bars of Poland and Ukraine.

Try something different and discover what makes Eastern Europe and its food culture so distinctive – both in the kitchen and in the way people come together. For one evening, the Town Square in Den Gamle By is transformed for communal dining under the open sky, where history, traditions and togetherness are woven together.

Dinner begins at 18.00, with arrival between 17.15 and 17.45. You can also experience Den Gamle by night on the same day from 10-21 – admission to Den Gamle By is included in your ticket. If you are an annual pass holder, you and your complimentary guest can enjoy the communal dinner and a welcome drink for just DKK 220 per person. Get tickets below.

Please note that seating for the communal dinner may be at either long shared tables or smaller tables. If you would like to sit together, please purchase your tickets as part of the same booking.

Practical info

Arrival

  • The dinner takes place outdoors in the Town Square at Den Gamle By, with arrival between 17.15 and 17.45.
  • Please present your ticket and, if applicable, your Annual Pass or student ID at the Main Entrance upon arrival to receive a wristband granting access to the communal dinner.
  • Your ticket is valid throughout the day from 10.00 – 21.00.


Please note

  • We recommend dressing appropriately for the weather.
  • In the event of bad weather, the dinner will be moved indoors.
  • Please note that seating for the communal dinner may be at either long shared tables or smaller tables.
