Try building little houses with natural materials

During the Ascension Day holiday, the tent by the Festival Grounds is transformed into a building site for tiny elf houses. Try making clay bricks for the little homes, mixing clay mortar, building up walls, and experimenting with natural materials and techniques. The activity is welcome to all ages.
Biogenic materials
Are you a bit of a grown-up child at heart? Then you might enjoy learning more about the biogenic materials the elves are so fond of. Today, many people believe that materials like clay no longer have a place in modern buildings. But clay, wood and thatch are in fact key materials in the sustainable construction of the future, as they are biogenic, regenerative and produce almost no CO₂ emissions. You can learn more about this over the weekend – while the children play with clay.
