Every Wednesday and Thursday evening in August, Restaurant Gæstgivergården stays open late for live jazz and a menu that reinterprets the ingredients, dishes and culinary trends of the Jazz Age.

Den Gamle By has been awarded Museum of the Year 2026
On 13 June, Den Gamle By won Europe’s most prestigious museum award. The award, presented by the European Museum Forum, recognises museums that stand out for their innovation and their ability to engage audiences in new and meaningful ways.
