The house comes from 78, Mejlgade.
It is a half-timbered house with heavy, profiled brackets.
The house was rebuilt in The Old Town in 1914 and houses the
clockmaker's workshop and shop and the goldsmith as well as The Danish Museum
of Clocks and Watches.

The house from Kalundborg, approx. 1700
This half-timbered house was originally situated in 27, Cordilgade.
The continuous, horizontal nogging at the rear end of the building
is a rarity. The characteristic shutters were added at the end of the
1700s. The house from Kalundborg is the only surviving building of its kind.
The house was rebuilt in The Old Town in 1930 and houses the hatter's
workshop. |
