The post mill

Gabled house from Aarhus 1600/1625
The gabled house is a half-timbered house from Tværgade, today's Nørreport.
The heavily profiled filling timber, and the jettied stoeys supported by profiled brackets are typical of renaissance timber-framed buildings.
The house was rebuilt in The Old Town in 1923 and houses the engraver's and bookbinder's workshops.

Post mill 1792
The post mill was originally built at Frøstrup Farm, moved in 1799 to Varde and again in 1866 to Tuesbøl near Brørup.
The post mill was rebuilt in The Old Town in 1931 where Aarhus post mill once stood.
