House from Aalborg, approx. 1650
The house was originally built as a side wing to the merchant's
house, 25, Vesteraagade.
The red and yellow patterned brickwork is typical of renaissance
timber-frame buildings.
The house was rebuilt in The Old Town in 1938 and houses the
Museum of Textiles.
.
The house from Næstved
The house is built as a warehouse. Originally a side wing of the merchant's house Gøyernes Gård, where the warehouse faced Pølsestræde.
The building as seen here is in the style of the 1700s, with
small shutters and trapdoors. From the courtyard the carved balustrade
of the gallery can be seen.
The house was rebuilt in The Old Town in 1981 and houses the
Museum of Toys. |
