Lille Rosengården

Stones in the wall of the ropewalk

Lille Rosengården 1741 Lille Rosengården is a row of rented workshops from Randers.
The row of workshops, originally built in Vester Grave, is a fine example of what was known as interest booths, which prosperous merchants built and rented to small-scale craftsmen.
Lille Rosengården was rebuilt in The Old Town 1931-1935 and houses a number of small apartments containing handicraft workshops.

Ropewalk, approx. 1875
The ropewalk, from Hjulby near Nyborg, is unusual in being fully covered.
The ropewalk was rebuilt in The Old Town in 1933.
