Detail from the school

The Merchant's House 1723
The Merchant's House is the majority of a large merchant's property originally built on the corner of Frederiksgade and the present-day Rådhuspladsen (Town Hall Square).
Facing the street are the living quarters, the shop and a grain loft on the second floor. The side wing houses the turner's workshop. The back building houses the coach house, stables, grain loft and a room opening onto the garden.
The Merchant's House was rebuilt in The Old Town in 1942 and provides the framework for the museum's regular exhibition The Merchant's House 1864, which changes seasonally.

The school 1741
The school is a yellow half-timbered house from Strandgade in Kerteminde.
It was rebuilt in The Old Town in 1935 and still houses the school.
