The house from Hobro 1814
The warehouse was originally the half-timbered side wing of a
merchant's property from 73, Adelgade.
The building has two storeys facing the courtyard and the longest
and broadest gallery known in Denmark.
The house was rebuilt in The Old Town in 1970 and houses the
conservation department.
.
Helsingør Theater 1817
The theatre is a brick building from the corner of Bjergegade and
Groskenstræde.
It was built by The Dramatic Society of Helsingør and had dual purposes,
functioning both as theatre for the middle classes and as the town assembly
hall.
The theatre was rebuilt in The Old Town in 1961 with the addition of
a modern foyer. Today Helsingør Theatre continues to house concerts, operas,
theatrical performances and other events. |
