The chemist's 1571
Corner house from Torvegade in Aalborg, locally known as
Povl Pop's house.
It is a half-timbered building with the patterned brickwork
and elaborate carvings characteristic of renaissance timber-frame
buildings.
The house was rebuilt in The Old Town in 1942 and houses the chemist's.
Summer house from Aalborg, approx. 1760
This summer house was originally constructed at Ved Stranden.
In the 1700s summer houses became popular among the middle classes.
The house was rebuilt in the chemist's garden in The Old Town in 1944.
.
The houses from Haderslev 1700s
The houses were situated together in 11, Slotsgade.
One house is built using the close boarding technique
(horizontal planks between vertical joists), which is rarely
seen in Danish market towns.
The houses were rebuilt in The Old Town in 1938. The half-timbered
house houses the workshops of the painter, carpenter, joiner and
woodcarver. |
